The London Handel Festival’s celebrated liturgical presentation of J.S. Bach’s St Matthew Passion returns in 2025. This performance recreates the work in the way it was intended to be heard. Sung in German and as part of the Good Friday Vespers service, this is a rare opportunity to experience the work in its original liturgical context, complete with sermon and congregational hymns.
