Meet outside exit to Holborn Tube Station
A short afternoon stroll discovering contemporaries of Handel including the first man to use an umbrella in London, the inventor of an award-winning navigational aid and the founder of a Georgian home for abandoned children. Along the way we will be counting statues, visiting leafy squares and learning of links with local authors and the books they wrote for children, before arriving at the Foundling Museum for the afternoon concert. Each family will have a quiz sheet to complete as we go on our walk together.
