We have a circular walk before our final performance in this year’s Festival, exploring the places that Handel knew so well and the people who lived or worked here, starting with the church where he worshipped. Amongst Handel’s friends and neighbours he had doctors, painters, intellectuals, clergy and politicians and on our afternoon tour we will learn more about them and their impact on life in Georgian London. We conclude the walk back at St George’s, Hanover Square in time for the late afternoon performance of Scipione by Early Opera Company.
