Handel in the Treehouse with The Hermes Experiment
Following their sparkling debut in 2022, The Hermes Experiment return to the London Handel Festival for a very special performance at Shoreditch Treehouse, one of London’s coolest and most intimate music venues.
The Treehouse is a place to experience live music in a totally different way. Typical concert formality is left at the door and guests are invited to come up and experience the music they hear in whatever way they want.
The Hermes Experiment are one of the most critically acclaimed and in-demand ensembles performing today. A contemporary quartet made up of harp, clarinet, voice and double bass, they capitalise on their deliberately idiosyncratic combination of instruments, the ensemble regularly commissions new works, as well as creating their own innovative arrangements and venturing into live free improvisation. As part of their set The Hermes Experiment will perform music by composers spanning nearly 400 years, including a selection of specially written Hermes Experiment arrangements of music by Handel.
Come and see for yourself the magic of Handel at Shoreditch Treehouse.
