St. George’s: A Tercentenary Celebration
Join the London Handel Orchestra, London Handel Singers, and the Choir of St George’s, Hanover Square for their first concert under the baton of their new Principal Conductor, Richard Gowers. This almighty tercentenary celebration marks the foundation of St George’s, Hanover Square: the very church Handel helped to build and where he worshipped.
The amassed forces come together to perform two of Handel’s most celebratory and majestic works, befitting this grand occasion commemorating the foundation of St George’s, Hanover Square. This promises to be one of the grandest and most eclectic performances at the 2025 Festival.
