We continue our popular series of pre-performance walks on musical and Georgian themes with Blue Badge Guide Janice Liverseidge. Each walk is specially tailored to allow for arrival in good time for the relevant performance later that day or evening.
Westminster was home to a monastery over 1,000 years ago, and during this evening’s stroll we will see an area that was important due to its links with royalty and democracy. We see some striking memorials and statues, and learn about former royal palaces and old entry points to the Thames. Our destination is tonight’s concert venue at King’s College on the Strand.
