In tonight’s early evening stroll, taking us from the former home of the 2nd Duke of Manchester to the development of a square named in honour of the new royal family, we learn about Hanoverian houses, pleasure gardens, coronations and burial grounds. We weave around the streets of the area to find out how the area developed during the 18th century together with those who lived there. We arrive in time for the final of the Handel Singing Competition. Meet at 5pm outside the Wallace Collection, Manchester Square W1.
