Everything we do is inspired by Handel and his life and is for everyone to enjoy.
From creating incredible live and digital performances with amazing artists to supporting and encouraging emerging young talent and reaching new and younger audiences, we believe that Handel’s music has a place in contemporary society.
Our 2023 Festival “Forces of Nature” demonstrates the scope of our work. We offer an eclectic and accessible programme which features internationally acclaimed soloists, rarely performed works, new collaborations and commissions as well as the established International Handel Singing Competition.
We are particularly thrilled to be launching our new London Handel Festival Opera Studio (LHFOS) with the production In the Realms of Sorrow, and launching LHFInspire! our new education and learning programme. Both these initiatives are part of a three-year development plan to make Handel’s work more accessible, and to continue to be a recognised hub for his music.
We are a remarkably small organisation but with ambitious goals, however we receive no regular public subsidy and are heavily reliant on the generous support of individuals, for which we are extremely grateful.
Please support us. Your donation will enable us to achieve artistic excellence and keep ticket prices affordable. Furthermore, the success of the annual Festival will ensure that artists, freelance musicians and venues are sustained. Your donations will mean that we can offer opportunities for emerging ensembles, schools and young people to benefit from performing, learning from and being inspired by Handel’s music.
We welcome donations from outside the UK. Please note that the figure donated will be in £ GBP, pound sterling, but will show up on your card statement in your local currency.
