Messiah Reimagined December 2021

Special on-line version of Messiah Reimagined to be released on 23 December

London Handel Festival is delighted to announce a special on-line version of Messiah Reimagined introduced by Laurence Cummings and launched on YouTube and available via Facebook .

With 350 voices from around the world, this unique performance brings together amateur singers from 10 choirs and an all-comers Sing At Home Choir.  These are combined with stunning performances from soloists Lucy Crowe, Iestyn Davis, Edward Grint and Nathan Vale together with the London Handel Orchestra under Laurence Cummings recorded in a performance of Messiah Reimagined from Handel’s church in April this year.

The performance will be available to watch from 23 December.

Members of the Sing At Home Chorus are a massed choir drawn from the December 2020 and April 2021 versions of Messiah Reimagined together with new members for this current production.
