Head of Individual Giving and Campaigns
The London Handel Society seeks an experienced fundraising professional to provide services in the newly created role of Head of Individual Giving and Campaigns. The post holder will play a key role in strengthening the organisation’s pipeline of support from individual donors. A central focus of the role will be the successful delivery of the Festival’s Future Fund Campaign.
Job Title: Head of Individual Giving and Campaigns
Contract: 12-month self-employed contract, with the option to extend beyond 12 months, subject to review.
Fee: £21,000 per annum (paid in monthly instalments)
Hours: This Role is based on an approximate equivalent of 0.3 FTE though workload will vary across the year depending on Festival activity at any given time. The fee equates to a full-time equivalent salary of £70,000.
Start Date: As soon as possible (newly created role)
Location: London, or within easy reach of London
Reporting Line: Festival Director.

As the UK's only full-time organisation dedicated to Handel's music, we're building a year-round cultural force through world-class performances, emerging talent competitions, bold opera productions, and inclusive creative learning programmes.
As a trustee, you'll help shape our strategic vision alongside a skilled board and dynamic executive team.
Who we're looking for:
- Those with experience of fundraising (ideally for charitable organisations)
- Candidates with knowledge of Learning and Participation (ideally practitioners)
- Extensive expertise in finance (preferably with a background in corporate finance/corporate credit)
