Arcangelo New Ensemblists

The Arcangelo New Ensemblists scheme brings together some of the world's most exciting emerging period-instrument talent. Their annual recital has rapidly become one of the Festival's most eagerly anticipated performances.

This third and final performance of the 2027 Arcangelo Residency marks the first public outing for the latest cohort of New Ensemblists. Taking place in Stationers' Hall, one of the City of London's oldest surviving livery halls, this intimate recital offers a rare chance to hear music-making in a space steeped in history, its wood panelling and stained glass largely unchanged since the seventeenth century.

The full programme will be announced later this year, and will showcase the remarkable talents of the New Ensemblists as they bring fresh energy and insight to Handel's world.
